bad APA partition on PS2

has anybody had bad APA partition message pop up when using HDL_dump trying to connect to harddrive on ps2.seems ok when i connect through my laptop but i want to connect to my other computer.both are runing on xp.
Can anybody help me on this?

Heres a wild guess are your two computers running differents service packs or any thing ie sp1 or sp2?
Myabe you could try reformatting the drive (dont know if you have anything on iot or not?)

cheers mate i will try that got nothing to lose.i will let you know how i get on.Looks like no one else has had this problem.but i have got all the latest up dates for xp.
