back up image

hi guys i back up my dm500c and saved image but file but its a file not a disc image.
do i need to install somthing to convert my backup file to disk image, help me out here guys cheers peace!!!

If your backup ends in .img then that is a DreamUP backup file ! Is that right ?

If so DreamUP will reflash that file.

instead of saying disc image file with a disc icon, my backup just says file. tried to reflash with dreamup, but dreamup cant find file.
but finds all other disc image files i got. but not my backup,

Rename the file with the extension .img it should work fine then.
