anyone help with this account problem

Guys I aint a gamer but my Son (10) has a xbox360 and has done for a few years. I set up an account for him years ago using my email and date of birth. I haven't ever let him play online before. Now he wants to play with his mates online and Im sort of thinking of giving in and letting him.

Anyway becasue the account I created for him was an adult account , here lies the problem I cant set it up with parental controls where he cant add friends without my permission etc because its an adult account.

I have created a new account now (childs) can I delete his old account without losing all his game saves and can I somehow assign his game save etc from his old profile (gamer tag to the new one I have created, then as I have deleted his old gamertag /profile from his xbox, can I then rename his new gamer tag to his old one.

I hope all that makes sense to you guys cause it feckin dont to me lol

Thanks MH. I think that relates to stuff from one xbox 360 to another with the same profile
