Anybody use the old cb / armature radio

Just got back into it.
Still a few using it locally. And DX has been good

Back them i had a Cobra 148 gtl dx modded to go super super low to super super high. Ham bands lol.

Never fancied armature radio. Couldn't be bothered continually replacing worn brushes.

Cobra dx mooded back in the day as well and killed the tv signals on AM every time

New one lad back in the day 81 82 year was into the ham and had the licence bouncing about on the repeaters well smart

Was a side band am 120 channel. But could be modified. The 1 I had was black

If I remember rightly it had a wood surround with a silver face.
