AI 'godfather' Geoffrey Hinton warns of dangers as he quits Google

Yes, if we're not careful then AI may soon be able to recognise pictures of traffic lights.

I believe the possible dangers from AI have been with us for a long time now. People have been reliant on it for so long now that the need for human basic knowledge is ever decreasing.
Why would a young person want to waste their time learning how something works when they can just ask Alexa or Siri??

Chookeys Law states that any advancement in Artificial Intelligence results in a directly proportional decrease in Human Intelligence.

My luck I'd end up owing them a friggin fortune

Skynet is coming.

Seriously, I don't think AI is as dangerous as they want us to believe, it's just something we have to live with.
