Skybox F5s advice for f5s

had a power cut the other day and after that my skybox f5s (think its a clone) just kept rebooting in a loop i tried another 12v power supply it was still the same
it went off all together after a factory reset no light at all
so i opened it and found a burnt bit next to a capacitor as far as i can find out it is a dc to dc converter that looks like a chip with 8 legs the question is should i try a repair or buy a new one ?

You need to ask yourself is it really wort it?
if it was a top notch box it would maybe be worthwhile but not for a F5 is it really worth the hassle?
get yourself a cheap enigma 2 box like a Zgemma S2 or the cloud ibox 2 plus SE
