Ab ipbox 91 hd

Hi all
can somebody please help me .i have just upgraded to hd box ab ipbox 91 hd from technomate tm500 which i managed to load image on but this new box is not as easy to load .i have tried with usb stick also with male to male usb cable with no sucess. With usb all i get is er 10 message and with cable i followed instruction and pc should ask for drivers and find them so i read but nothing. I have been sat at my computer for four days now with no sucessso any help at all that will get the pgi image on my box i will be very gratefull for

Loads of support here for ip boxs m8....make sure ur image on pen drive is like this , usb_update.img <<underscore

--Pen drive should have 1 parition only,,, no extra partitions
--Despite claims elsewhere the only method i ever get to work 100% is formating the drive in FAT32 . ( i do know other methods are claimed to work but will just go with my own experiances )
--Pen drive should be blank,, (remove and backup anything you have on drive )

1. Copy the image to the pen drive, if not already rename file to usb_update.img
2. Close the window of the drive on your desktop
3. goto Safely remove Hardware on your taskbar beside the clock and safely remove the pen drive from pc
4. Turn box on at back
5. when box is turning on Press and hold the on button, and then press the UP ^ key on front. should come up USB-UPGRADE.... first time this will annoy you, but if it doesnt come up that keep just pressing Power and UP at same time till it appears,,, if it doesnt appear and goes to booting, then turn off and try again,, once you done it once you will know when best time to do it.
6. Wait till it comes up DONE on front of box..

7. TURN BOX OFF AND REMOVE THE PEN DRIVE ( * read below )

Thats you flashed, simple as that.

* Very good reason i empahasise on remove the pen drive at end.
if there is a usb drive in the box when it boots it will make itself a partition on your pen drive to work as a H/D for the box if no other drive is connected. It will format it as EXT3, and become a pain in the backside to fix it for flashing with again as you need to get rid of the partitions which sometimes can be a real nightmare, so highly recommend keeping that stick for flashing only,,,, makes things easy, unsless your really comfortable with how these things work

Er10 is problem with your usb stick,
format the stick ( make sure only 1 partition on it ) in FAT16 or FAT32, and make sure image is named usb_update.img

I have managed to follow your instructions and it works very well. I have managed to install various images to test as this is my first experience with an IPbox 91HD.
My question is:

Does the AB IPbox 91HD work the same way when connecting the STB to my PC via USB cable?

I have followed other tutorials where it says that pressing and holding the ON button and pressing the > button should leadme to a USB driver installation when connected to my PC. But it does not happen to me. I just get the ERROR 10 message.
