50 meg, slow wireless speeds.. but 50 meg when wired ?

n has not been fully ratified yet and there is a few different versions (very slight anomalies) You may also have to turn off ab/g in the router also and have it only running on n.

Oh right ok. :)

I still can get no where near the speeds I was getting on b/g bands :(

I was getting after a tinker 22meg ! now with this new card im only getting 8-11 meg ? lol

Tried the driver in this link Broadcom Wireless LAN Driver for Microsoft Windows Vista HP Pavilion dv6567cl Entertainment Notebook PC - HP Customer Care (United States - English)

Laptop gave me BSOD ! :( Put router into N mode only, still the same.

speed test I just did !

Also, under device mgr .. on the advanced tab on the card, there is no option to select N under band options, just a or b/g no n ? :(

Edit again :p

driver is:

Driver provider : Broadcom
Driver Date : 05/09/2007
Driver Version: 4.170.25.4

thats the driver details of whats installed atm if it helps anyone

Tried setting router to N only ... same.
Driver update ... Same
Un-install - reinstall .... Same ! :(

Seems no matter what i did the speed just stayed the same, 10x worse Id say than my current card ! how is that possible !

only just seen this m8
ok with the original wlan card look for the drivers and uninstal them
then search for each file and delete them
next you need a new driver to install
