403 forbidden

Hi,

I boyght a new laptop yesterday and when trying to get on the net it's coming up '403 forbidden'. You were denied access because: Access denied by access control list.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

SOunds like router settings, are blocking the Laptops IP

Hi, thanks for help guys, I sorted by following this info:


To resolve this problem if using a broadband connection, you should remove the specified proxy from Internet Options by following these steps:

Click on Start
Click on Settings
Click on Control Panel
Double click on Internet Options
Click on the Connection Tab
Click the LAN Settings button and take the tick out of use proxy server.
Click OK
