Phone Unlocking 3330 LCD Change

Hi i would like to change the colour of my LCD, I kinda know how to, but i was wondering if anyone knows where i can get the soldering iron,the screwdrivers and the LCD's I have an old 3210 to try on first <br />I need diagrams for the 3330/3210

I don't think you'll be needing diagrams to change LEDs, screwdriver sets suitable for mobiles can be bought from Maplin or phone accessory shops (Just a T5 for those I think). Proper SMT rework irons and bits are expensive, it's possible with a cheaper iron and a filed down tip though <img src="smile.gif" border="0"> and the LEDs are quite small 0603 package 1.5 x .8 mm and it can be difficult to get hold of blue ones unless you use the larger 0805 size. You will find some 'desoldering braid' handy to remove excess.

It's A T6 you will need.

Don't know what screwdrivers you use CWZ15 but I definatley use a Torx5 for those.

Maybe a T5 with the coating flaked off lol, or maybe I've got a cheap set <img src="smile.gif" border="0">
