250 not locking frequency

just tried that gentlex both annex_b & 3 but it still wont lock on 2 a signal im using telnet to use the commands as i haven't got hyperterminal cause i am using vista is this ok?

reflash it m8 and see if that sorts it out, if it still wont lock then it could be the tuner is naff

ive flashed it but its still the same it wont lock on to a signal i flashed it with th tw dump but now when i try & connect with hyperterminal i dont get the optiop p to stop it scanning have i f@@ked it?

this is what you do....
take the coax cable out of the modem first then reboot....
in cmd type in telnet 192.168.100.1 ok then it asks for the username and pass.
username : Admin Pass :Infinite // depends whats yours.

First:
cd \cm_hal
scan_stop (copy then right clik and paste ( dont do cntrl v. )
cd /
cd /non
cd docsis
enable bpi false
write
cd \
log


and then reboot with coax in.

once done then put your valid mac in and then reboot and it shud work. it doesnt stop scanning unless a working mac is in and a working config + tft server ip .
