If I wanted to jtag a 2100 for ex cw would I need to use the bytes for the relevant area or can i just use
any bytes.

It's just my brother's Pace has packed up and he has got a Sammy 2100 he wants me to do.

Will it make a difference if I use pure bytes for a box to be used in ex cw 41047.

If anyone has a better/proper way of achieving this please can they advise me.

Thank's

I'm not 100% on this but i would think if the box came from a pure area then you would have to use the pure bytes

Hi m8,

So after that I can use the jtag method to set the net id or can i do it via the stby+L+R+ok then boot into the em?

I think this box was issued in the langley sector.

Look at top of last page in EM - if software version is 3.5L... then use Langley (NTL) bytes; if 3.5B... then use Bromley (exCW) bytes. You'll have jtag attached to do this so set the netid at the same time - and remember that if you've cleared the netid then you won't be able to read the BK correctly until you've set it again (and rebooted the box)
