Decided to stop visitors today. I'm in the vulnerable group and this Coronavirus is starting to look extremely serious. I don't want to take any chances.
I have sent out a number of text messages telling those close to me of my decision."
An extract from my digital diary 1 year ago today. Never thought then it would lead to shielding and we would still be in the grip of this virus. I would say rather than social distancing I was actually semi-shielding.
Doesn't time fly when you're having fun?
