TM-500 "Wrong data transmission"

Hey guys, looking for some help with my TM500, this last week I have lost all of my sky channels sports, movies and pretty much any channel you would have to pay for. I did notice my box had no internet connection, so I did a software update and the static ip address is now shown and the box has an internet connection however the channels are still not up, all I see is "Wrong Data Transmission". My c-line is operational as I have 2 different boxes and the other (TM5402HD) is working fine, I swapped lines and both c-lines are working ok. I have got a recent catseye bouquet and updated the channels but still no joy. Can anyone out there help me out? Looked at other posts but none of their suggestions helped.

Check to see if you can download any plugins first to make sure your internet connection is working. Next can you access the webif by putting you box's ip into your computers browser? Make sure cccam is running by going into the softcam set up make sure its running Next try to see if you have cccam running by typing in you boxs ip into your computers browser and then add :160001
example 192.168.1.254:16001

This will allow you to see whats is going on.

I had very similar earlier on the old Itgate in kitchen that I have not updated for ages.

What I did was opened vhannibal bouquet pack with dreambox edit, deleted what I did not want ( just kept 28.2 east) and sent to box.

Then rebooted and all was fine.

Double check the tuner configuration.

put the tm500 on channel that says "wrong data transmission"
press menu 6, 2, 7. make sure under FEC it says auto. press green button. when done channels will be there.
repeat for any none working channels. (eurosport and sky living not fixed by this, they have moved).

Thanks for the help it worked great, got nearly all my channels back. However I did notice that eurosport (like you said), sky movies showcase, TCM and an odd one or two more have been removed as my box says. Is it because my bouquets are just out of date that I got the wrong data transmission and lost some channels or what happened? never had that problem before!

yeah, most channels only changed the FEC from 2/3 to 5/6 but a few did move completly.

just do menu 6 2 7 change the frequency and symbol rate to the new ones listed above and scan.

Just after taking a look to see if I could sort them channels out, I put in the frequency, polarity, symbol rate that king of sat states (and FEC on auto) then hit scan but I don't find the channel is there a step I'm missing or not doing correctly? The channel goes back to the old freq,polar and symbol rate after I scan every time. Heres an image of the dialog box I'm on before I hit scan, the channel is sky showcase movies..

delete all channels that dont work from each bouquet or favourite category and then also in the all services bouquet or favourite, then upate your satellites.xml file in /var/etc, there are xml generator sites on the web, rescan and sort channels as you like them.
