@nistleboy have a look in /usr/bin & see exactly what your CCcam is called then do like wiz569 suggests starting the cam in telnet mine would be /usr/bin/CCcam_2.2.1 EDIT on my box CCcam.cfg lives in /usr/keys

I'm in the north west too & getting 70% + on 12.5 w but cant tune to the two channels listed ? I even generated a new satellites.xml.

I have a motorised dish but cant seem to tune to any of these channels in this thread ? maybe my 1m dish is too small.

The satellites.xml that comes with this image only has East so you need to copy over your custom satellites.xml. You can create one here satellites.xml generator / transponder .ini generator Edit I think the satellite.xml lives in /etc/tuxbox in this image

Yes 357 is default value but anything below 2001 causes it to glitch & takes a while to start up.

I have tried quite a few different versions of the new(ish) builds & all glitch quite bad, the only way I found to to stop it was to change a line in oscam.server cardmhz = 2001 But have no idea if this could damage the card.

Could be the img has gone read only & needs a reflash then if you can't write to /var ?

Can you copy files to /tmp or /var folders ?

Have you tried root dream or root dreambox

You can also use a DM500C as a server you should be able to get hold of a cheap one.
