1) A 230 V single-phase circuit is wired using a multi-core 70°C thermoplastic cable having 1.5mm2 copper conductors to a length of 37m. The circuit is protected by a 16 BS 88-3 system C fuse. The Prospective Short Circuit Current at the origin of this circuit has been measured and recorded as 110 A. Determine if this circuit has adequate short-circuit protection.

2) List seven characteristics of equipment that should be assessed, which may have harmful effects on other installed equipment.

3) Explain what considerations must be given to circuits where disconnection times are met, specifically, by the use of an RCD.
