Cool TV Guide V5.6.2 Update Prompts

Been using Cool TV Guide V5.6.2 for ages now as as far as Im aware its was the last full version before it became a paid for

Ive noticed now when exiting the guide you get a prompt telling you there is an update, anyone else get this ?

Haven't yet seen this matey, how much is the new version? I wonder if its even worth paying for?

Yes mate, I've started having it from today. Must be something buried in the code to activate on date change.

i found the 6.10 worked great for me on my vu duo but the new version 6.30 gives me green screen mate. did you try 6.10??

no update prompt mate, Not sure what image your running so il up both

well v6.10 works for me but iv added the lastest version v6.30 see if that works

how do you know what one of the 2 files you need to install



I know the 32 one didn't install, and the other gave green screen, I even re flashed so I had a clean image on

How do mean m8?
Its just one ipk that you install in the usual way,if you press menu when you have the file ticked in the "Install local extensions" part I think it gives you an option to force install,
might help you get the 32 version installed?

its not the installing thats the issue

Yeah i upped both verions but not for the v6.30 looks like your have to stick with the v5.62

i think it depends on how updated your drivers are too, i tried 3 versions on tspanel to install with latest vti or openvix.

you would get a message saying it failed or installed correctly tho
