San Fran CyanogenMod 7 - 2.3.2 Gingerbread ROM IS HERE

Just going through the thread and there isn't an official list of known issues yet, but people are reporting:
>> camera has no auto focus
>> proximity sensor isn't working
>> No FM Radio

Reports also that the ADW launcher is laggy when NOT using a live wallpaper, this is resolved by disabling Wallpaper Hack in settings.

Also Auto Brightness isn't enabled out of the box. Again, change in settings.

Aye, just edited the OP with the edit that I'm going to wait a few days. They are doing nightly builds mate, loads of people working on it so any issues should be ironed out really quickly... Sounds sh*t hot though from the feedback so far...
 
aye iv tried a few of his roms from different phones and theyve always been good like, i'll keep an eye on it though as like ya said this should be a cracking rom once all the slight problems are ironed out!

looks good,made a phone call and had black screen so shook phone then all good,went to end call and black screen not good lol,,had to take battery out,

aye i think i'll be holding off for now with this 1, although i think it will be a great rom when issues are sorted!

reading through the thread there is an app that sorts this out for now till they sort it properly, cant be 100% sure but its called shake or something similar
 
If you look at the issues link above, most of the major issues are been worked on already. Found out that the main lad working on it, Jacob, is only 16!!!

If you untick "In Call Touch UI" from call settings, the screen stays on the whole time your in call and you have to press menu to bring up options to dismiss call etc, temporary solution for now "
 
They are saying tonight's nightly will contain most of the main fixes and people are gearing up to load it on. But from what I can see there are still issues with not being able to loads apps from SD and a few people are saying there is a battery drain somewhere... So I'm still holding off!!!
 
I had loads of problems getting this to boot on first run, had to remove sd card and clear the data in recovery mode :( Finally got it up and running and it was a bit choppy.

I shall also be waiting until this rom is ironed out looks good though cant wait for the stable.
 
Headset and volume fixes accepted now. Should be in nightly 4 tonight with proximity fix

If it's the homescreen slides you are saying are choppy, you need to disable the wallpaper hack in ADW settings...

Do you know if I can titanium backup my apps and settings from JJ over to CM7?

when flashing new rom i do a factory reset in recovery mode and also clear cache

This was my first go only got the phone last week I will try that next time up cheers :)

@ beats cheers I will give it a go when they stabilize the rom have no idea on the backup mt but if you find out how can you make a post on it that would be good info.

should work ok and if it dont it wont take you long to go back :proud:
