Right guys im looking to try and get hold of a VU+ duo for myself, however with limited stock available im going straight to the supplier.

Awaiting a email back but they advertise costs of 289-290 EURO. ive enquired about stock for 15 and at what cost.

would any DW members be willing to buy into this seeing as the VU+ is an amazing box, and if the advertised price is right, its a steal even to resell.

I've got one of these already guys and for the money you will not do any better. They are a good solid twin tuner PVR running enigma2. Cant speak highly enough of it. Still has a few minor bugs to iron out but the software on this box is being updated with great regularity and will only go from strength to strength.

I genuinely beleive this will be the one to finally put dream in their place which is vastly overpriced.

Very interesting.

At that price point it will shit all over sales of the DM800, making the DM800 entiely pointless to everyone except DMM Fanboys.

It appears to run EnigmaII without any patching as it has it's own LEGAL bootloader, so although it's legally not a clone of the DM8000, it's still a clone IYKWIM

Only 2 tuners, boo, the DM8000 can take 4 - why the feck would anyone want 4 tuners?

I'm very tempted, but I'll need to see what price they are asking.

I've just realised that it'll support Barry Allen too....it gets better.

I can't see that type of hardware going for any less than £400 mate, though I hope I'm wrong

I'm wrong, there is a trader in Belgium selling them for £252 per box if bought in batches of 12.

How much did you pay for yours mate?

There is a trader in Belgium doing 12 units for £252 each.

This is only slightly more expensive than the projected TM800 price point, somehow the TM800 suddenly feels much more less attractive.

I paid £400 plus a tenner postage. If he is sound and is only asking £250 my advice is bite his arm off. In fact bite both his arms off lol.

And at that price there is no debate at all over this and the tm800 and put me down for taking one to put in the bedroom!
