fun with dbox2

going to update the image on my dbox 2 .
have connected to the dbox with the laptop no problems
pulled the keys off
when i try to pull the to pull of the emulators it just wont do it
i look in /var/bin/evocamd and can see the folder
but get no joy when trying to copy it all i get is
[R] CWD /var/bin/emu/evocamd
[R] 550 Failed to change directory.
im using flash fxp
copied overother things over ok
cant see why this file wont...:BLOBBY:

if i cant copy this over can some one point me in the right direction where i can download these files

try transferring the whole emu folder

backed up the image and transfered all the image
trying to flash box now

flashed it at last with the new commando-11 image
just hoping the scan will work on this

not to familiar with dboxs but is it a x1 or x2 box you have?

now u have to use ifa to flash an img

put on the commando inage all gone ok
put in the keys but only get the free to air channels
can someone point me in the direction of the emu files i will need to get this up and running.
its an ex c&w area

Get munchkin's magic files here and follow instructions or FTP them across and remember to chmod the emu to 755

put on the magic files
changed the setting on the files to 755
but still no joy
starting to pull my hair out now:Chainsaw:
think its just playing with me
50/50 chance when re-boot if it will give me the channels
but then it will freeze and loose all the pay channels

have you then set location then scanned channels?

yes done a brute force scan on the dbox

Does any one of your mates have a working img? back it up and try that

tried the new image commando 11 added the magic stuff setting the props to 755 as stated above and all i get is the FTA TV...............

I could cry, i've tried a number of things but nothing works i'm sure i'm so close to resolving this issue........!

Any help would be great

put on the commando image again and put in all the stuff that is needed and for some reason this time it worked...
did nothing different....
but now it works

have u activated the cam? and leave on ss1 for a few mins?

Don't know what you mean activated the cam ??

Yes i left the dbox on Sky1 all night no difference

press blue, softcam menu, (commando menu?) choose evocamd or mgcamd, press ok and reboot if necessary
