500c = Doorstopper ?

Im having major problems with the 500c, it suddenly stopped working and all i get now is a black screen when i switch it on, i have tried to put another image on it but it fails to upload. It was on the dw2.0 image, but now nothing loads at all just a black screen. I have checked all the connections in the back of the 500c and all secure.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

now tell me is the box aborting when you start flashing with dreamup is so try dreamup for the 600 c box I had same problem and this sorted me out

It does about 10% then just come up with a error uploading.

I had the same problem when uploading dw image from my pc try the 600 c version of dreamup thats what solved my problem

Dreamup is basically crap.

You are far better off using a Telnet session to upload the image, however, if the image is totally fooked then you'll not have an IP address in order to create a session.

When this happens to me I usually download the original DreamMedia image from their site - this always seems to work for me using Dream-up, then once I have configured the network settings on the original image I open the Telnet session and load up the image I want.
