This Will Drastically Cut Down On Faulty euro max 2008 models.

A major fault has been found in the eurvox max-v 2008 software which will lead to faulty/ dead boxes, please update to the bellow software ASAP to avoid damage.

IMPORTANT !!

With immediate effect use ONLY THIS program to flash the
EUROVOX MAX V 2008 Black Box. Failure to do so may cause
problems with your box in the future.



Reasons for this release:

Due to users reporting higher than normal problems with
the Eurovox Max V it was found that many different types
of Flash loading programs were being used to program the
boxes. These ranged from third-party loaders, 8FAV DNUPMAN,
4FAV DNUPMAN and right back to DABBAMAN which is 4 years old.
Some of these loaders are underground hacked programs intended
for other boxes entirely, and not fully compatible with
the EUROVOX MAX V.

This has lead to a large inconsistency in the software used
to flash the boxes, and in turn introduced problems.

Due to the unique nature of the flashing process, it is
critical that the correct loader is used. Therefore, to
avoid any confusion we have unified the image and loader
program into one easy-to-use file.

From this point onwards this is the only official way to
flash the Eurovox Max V.

ok, new loader but what about a new image to go with the loader???....or r you supposed to use the image that is available in the download section???

i have two euromax's 2008, that seem to be working fine for now.....should i re-flash them using the new loader???

both the image & the loader is combined so this will eradicate the problems associated with different loaders been used to flash the boxes. i have just upgraded mine to be on the safe side & even thou there seems to be no difference only time will tell.

Just ask your supplier what program they used to flash the box, saves worrying about it going tits up. My supplier has been using this program for a while now on all his blackboxes, just because we just had it released doesnt mean it hasnt been available to the suppliers.

Hi guys, I used the "DnUpMan_DVBC_FAV8_20060314" from the download section without any problems on the MAX V and had no problems at all. In the download section it states it will work with the "MAX" and it did..........if there was going to be a problem with the flashing program surely it would happen when you where flashing the box?

just recieved a call from my m8, he bought 2 euromax's 2008 from the sunday market 2 weeks ago, yesterday 1 box went completely dead and the other this morning is stuck on standby.....he has tried re-flashing them, but boxes dont connect to pc via com ports.....can the boxes be j-tagged?????

@ gadgetfiend hi m8 was this a eurovox max v 08 you are refering to because i have one stuck on standby and i cant get hold of the flashfile for the max v. i did use a blue box tsop file and i did get it switching on but no picture. cheers

i flashed mine with the red2007 tsop flash then reflashed using dnupman and the max-v 02-07-07 flash. if you cant get an on screen display you have to tune it in with an rf lead and use the master pin which of 1004 then do a clear data then factory reset and scan or load your channel data......
