nobody knows what will happen in a few years time that includes anyone that knows there will be no option to return in a few years time just a personal opinion not a fact simply because no one has ever left before that might be what the eu say today the eu have never ever changed their minds about anything have they not much

s
I'm afraid not m8y. A decision to leave is final, no turning back. I'm a little worried that you don't seem to realise that.

Another simple arithmetic fail.

Anybody else sick of looking at this now. I still ain't made my mind up. positives and negatives on both sides. For the 1st time in my adult live I don't actually know how I'm gona vote.

My Problem is I detest (don't think that is that a strong enough word)both camps "leaders" with a passion, yes I know its bigger that that but I trust neither side and I cant bring myself to side with such people.

I'm I wrong?

for me I don't like a lot of what I am getting being in the eu so that only leaves vote for more of the same by voting in or try something new voting out cant say it will be successful or great by the same token cant say it will be unsuccessful or bad at least I can try to vote out what I don't like if we govern ourselves. plus its got nowt to do with who you do or don't like on a personal level in my opinion

Oh...K. :tumbleweed:
Anyhow if you're still undecided. Here's a pretty balanced guide from Martin Lewis.
How to vote in the EU referendum - Martin Lewis' Blog...

Pretty much impossible to calculate.

Annualy, the UK pays around £20b to the EU. We get around half back after about a year leaving a nett contribution of about £10b. It's 'about' because it's a percentage of GDP so it varies as our GDP varies. What we get back is a combination of rebate and grants/funding.

However, the other costs are not taken into account such as the External Trade Tariff which is on top of whatever anyone suggests we pay.

We can't work that out either because the tariffs are a percentage of import and export values which go up and down too. Additionally, we don't know what tariffs would be applicable if we left. That's partly because a lot of external trade goes through Rotterdam so counts as EU trade even though the final source/destination may be outside the EU.

For those reasons most economic arguments are complete speculation and decidely pointless. If you were hoping for an economic argument to help make your mind up I would forget it, there won't be anything more scientific than fingers in the air!

We don't know how it will work out for the UK if we leave...

We do know that it will be more of the same if we stay...

It all depends how you feel about more of the same :)

We don't control our borders because of freedom of movement, however we are safer than other eu countries because of the mass of water around us that makes it more difficult to smuggle in guns etc.

And in fairness I believe our police service is much more advanced than others - maybe due to our cctv state (not perfect though)

I look at Australia and how they police their borders and I am envious.

Immigration is very important we need it more than people understand - but we need skilled immigration not anyone with a hammer!

And do not listen to the nonsense about losing out on trade - supply and demand over rules that. Can you honestly see Germany closing down car factories lol

Yeah that's going to happen!

And it is not like its going to be overnight we are out it could be two years before we are out out lol...

You do not think that all the trade deals negotiations can be done in two years, of course they can!

The problem I have is they (the politicians) are all lying (IN and OUT) and how biased it's been against the leave campaign.

If BT can send an email to 80,000 staff scaremongering maybe we can send one to 300,000 lol :)

Do note for the leave campaigners it won't be easy for quite sometime, it's going to get worse before it can get better that's for sure! and the pound will plumit (like it is at the moment).

This is all my opinion mind...

What ever you want to do in or out, you must vote as you will never have this change again in your lifetime!

I'm out!
Lol I feel like I'm on dragons den

Regards
Mick

I think that is one of the key things, the ability to say "we like that, we'll help" or "we don't like that, we're out"

I like what you did there lol ;).

So if we vote out we are selfish? (basically).

How can you help when the EU is a dictatorship not a Democracy, if it was a democracy then Brussels would not have so much control.

We cooperate in scientific ventures across the world, in and out of the EU. It's not necessary to be in something to forge alliances.

That test is so biased for stay in - if you are undecided.

If you know you are leaving or you are staying in - its straight as an arrow but it will lead an undecided person to stay every time.

Surely that viewpoint would depend on the bias of the observer.

I'm undecided @Mick @nara or so I thought? but I just took that "test" and the result was Leave but reading the questions twice over before deciding on what answer to give, the questions do try to instill fear, IMO

EDIT:

Instill Fear of Leaving the EU I should have put , sorry

I have still seen nothing to change my mind I am still out even though some media outlets have me down as a brexit accomplice to murder which a joke because even though some of jo cox's policies I don't agree with the one thing she did stand for is don't blame others for an individuals actions something that has escaped at least some of the remain camps members. as for the sad state of society we live in these days I am betting there will be some eu law that says we cant lock up mr mair & chuck away the key because of his human rights well what about jo cox's human rights is all I can say
