Win 10 windows 10

Insiders will be provided with new testing builds soon

Gabriel Aul, the head of the Windows Insider program, has confirmed on Twitter
“likely several” flights of windows 10 builds should be released soon.

Needless to say, Aul hasn’t provided any other specifics, pretty much because work on Windows 10 is still in progress and bugs could make the company miss the date, so he’s playing the safe card and remaining tight-lipped for now.

some people said that the company would launch one this week, but given the fact that it’s already Friday, today is the last day when this could actually happen.

Previously, Aul said that the Windows development team didn’t want to release new builds on Friday, but it already happened in the past, so with a little luck, this new version could arrive later today.

"We'll definitely have at least one more flight before RTM, likely several."

I wonder how this will work if you need to reinstall, either while waiting for the update or when the update is installed

will it know by your serial number when you reinstall to do the update again ? spoze it must do really

Is this what you were wondering?

if you do an upgrade from a legitimate version of windows, it records your key and if you continue to upgrade to later versions, that key remains recorded so you will never be asked for the key.

But when you do a clean install of any of the preview builds you will lose all records of your key and when its RTM time it will ask for your key.

That is unless you continue to be an insider after the RTM and then no one knows when the key will be asked for.

Does the product key not show in my computer > properties?

I dont know the product key

Code:
You don't have permission to view the code content. Log in or register now.
Then in your case there is nothing to worry about, because windows will detect the key from the bios no matter how you install windows.

Clean install or upgrade wont make any difference in your case, because your key is integrated in your bios.

But just to be on the safe side there are some software that detect the key from where ever it may be. Might be an idea to get the key first before you do a clean installation.

From what I've briefly read, Windows 10 RTM will require TPM 2.0 a year after release.

More invasive MS integration.

I don't know about their future plans but at the moment Microsoft's main objective is targeting windows 7 and XP users, that's the reason why they made Win 10 with such a low speck requirement.

Windows 10 will require UEFI?
I've read several places online that Windows 10 requires UEFI and Secure Boot. Does this mean that Windows 10 won't be able to be installed on older computers with legacy BIOS? I have installed the Technical Preview on two older laptops that were made years before the advent of UEFI and it works.

No, Windows 10 will continue to support legacy BIOS. For new devices that are launched a year after the release of Windows 10, they must have UEFI and Secure Boot enabled at the factory. This does not affect existing systems.

Firmware: UEFI 2.3.1 with Secure Boot enabled
TPM: Optional, can be TPM 1.2 or 2.0. TPM 2.0 is required one year after Windows 10 RTMs.
RAM: 1 GB (32-bit/x86) or 2GB (64-bit/x64)
Storage: 16 GB (32-bit/x86) or 20 GB (64-bit/x64)
Screen: 7-inches or bigger (Pro) or 8-inches or bigger (consumer), 800 x 600 resolution and higher
Graphics: DirectX 9

Microsoft is testing build 10146 for Windows Insiders

According to our sources Microsofts Canary Ring Testers are currently using build 10146 from fbl_impressive branch. This means that if the builds quality is good enough it could move Canary Ring to OSG Ring and then directly to Windows Insiders via Windows Update.

The full build string is:
10.0.10146.0.fbl_impressive.150612-1527

See the graphic below for an explanation of the Microsoft Testing Rings:

Gabriel Aul, revealed on Twitter that build 10145 is already being tested internally and if no major bug is discovered, it could be pushed to the fast ring in the coming days.

Gabriel Aul @gabeAul
@ilovewindows10 @joebelfiore We're past 10136 as a candidate for PC. 10145 is in OSG ring and looking promising.

Microsoft have given a release date of july 29th for 10 update to end user..
Theres a lot i like with windows 10 but a few bits i dont..I wish Microsoft would make things a little more customizable for us users save needing third party instalations

Great start! A little icon appeared on my Win8.1 taskbar(?), "Get Windows 10"- clicked on it and got a blank window saying 'Get Windows 10 (not responding)' I know this problem is nothing to do with Win 10, but it doesn't exactly inspire confidence.

you can uninstall the new win10 update

look for KB3035583 in the window update and uninstall and
untick include recomended
reboot and it should go

sent from 2 tin cans and some string

Would it be possible for someone to check this product key finder for malware.
It may be a coincidence but since I uploaded it I had to restore my computer to a few days back because I was getting unwanted adverts where ever I clicked on this site

AVG Internet Security (local) found no issues on scan

MD5 hash search online found nothing

Runnnig in Sandbox could see nothing out of the ordinary and nothing through firewall

VirusTotal shows no probs - >> see report <<

Having said all that.... I still wouldn't run it unless it was Sandboxed ;)
