Hi folks,
Ok I currently have a vpn subscription with Cyberghost 5 (CG5). All was well for a week or 2 then I started getting random disconnections which the program does according to their support but it won't auto reconnect and they said it should. Looked at the log files and couldn't see anything obvious. Contacted their tech support and tried just about everything bar throwing the kitchen sink at it, this went on for about a month, trying different things on an almost daily basis, I gave up in the end. I am with BT and was using their HH4 router. I decided one day just in case it was a bit of software to reformat my PC. So did that and installed a fresh copy of Win 7 64bit Ultimate. Installed CG5 and left it running and went to work, came back in later that evening and the thing was sitting there disconnected and asking to reconnect. So I changed my BT router for my old Netgear DG834G model but alas that's still doing the same thing, random disconnections. I've disabled the Windows firewall as well but no joy with that. Any expert out there got anything I could try?
TIA
