Wanted to say thanks to Rat. I am a user of his bouquets and picons. I knew the new BBC2 HD channel was available so I rescanned, updated list and picons and hey presto its there. Great work!!!

I'm still learning bits, what's picons? And what do they do?

As and when. As I have mentioned Rat has made it simple for us. Just go into plugins and update.

As stated previously, I would really like to use this and the picon plugin on my duo but I am currently running BH 2.0.2 and neither seem compatible.

I was wondering if future versions will solve the compatibility issues or is it a case of changing images?

Hi mate, when I try to install the picon ipk by vucc I get the following:

collected errors
* pkg_hash_fetch_best_installation_candidate: Packages for Enigma2-plugin-rats-
* opkg_install_cmd: Cannot install package Enigma2-plugin-rats-picons.

I hope this is of some help I will post the error messages from the bouquet ipk plugin later.

Exactly the same collected errors for the bouquet updater plugin.

this solves the problem...you can then install .ipk packages, such as rat updater

The architecure names where changed from cpu arch to boardname after 8.09, e.g. what formerly was "mipsel" is "brcm-2.4" now.
The 8.09 SDK uses old style arch names while trunk expects new style ones.

You can add such a line to opkg.conf:

arch mipsel 100

This will make the trunk opkg also accept packages made for "mipsel".

no probs mate...ftp to you box...got to folder "var"...then "etc".....then "opkg"....then right click on the "opkg.confg" file and edit it with notepad by adding the line "arch mipsel 100"....right at the bottom.....exit and save...now you can install any .ipk package...hope that helps mate...see below...right at bottom the line ive added..
