you will need to download Ccam from the box but it's all good and easy
only problem is i could not get ts panel to work tho

no, it's not mate, like i said, flashed ssl, image, then ssl again but tuner config still says it's empty. i'll try putting in the trial tuner driver when i get chance and let you all know how it went. thanks for your help though :drink:
no need to apologise bud, i appreciate your help : multi : i am not too bothered about tspanel, can get most of that stuff elsewhere anyway but i can't seem to find link for that image though?

There are also 800SE images too and some skins too. I am currently downloading 28 feb version for DM800 (non se.)

well, this is completely doin' me head in!
i got a new tuner but still the same, flashed it so many times with those suggested above, ie. openpli, plus dreamelite and nemesis but still get the same, says tuner empty every time. have flashed ssl84b before and after flashing image. in all other respects the images appear to be working fine.
it's almosty like the tuner driver isn't loaded, but i thought it was included in the image?
any other ideas please lads, like i said, i'm beginning to lose my sanity, only bonus is it isn't my main box, but i'm stuck with freeview upstairs :grayno:

if your stuck you can send and i'll flash or some one else will for you
see if it is summit your doing rather than the image but i cannot see the image being wrong as i am using the one i posted and works fine
or if your near pompey you can pop round and i'll do it while your there

Thing is hes been flashing stb's for years so should be doing it right.
yer i agree but it only takes pc to have summit on that is causing a conflict

yes, everything does sem to point to h/w, but it seems weird it just happened out of the blue. i've checked the connection between mainboard and tuner and although a little looser than i would like, it does seem to be making good contact, and i'm also making sure the fibre spacer is in place, else i can see how it may well work itself out of the interface.
i'm going to have another serious go at it shortly, in the meantime i'll dust off the trusty old tm9100 lol

have tried on 2 different pcs, one of which has done other box fine so really doubt it's down to pc.
i'm a stickler though, ain't giving up just yet, gonna try some older images, maybe it'll like them better than the younger ones... like manic01 :Kickassro
