whats for dinner tonight?

seen this in other chat forums, it does and can go on for a long time, so mods block it or lock it whatever when you like, but it is interesting and gives others ,myself included ideas as to what to make for meals .

here goes..

im making homemade steak and onion pie with puff pasrty , creamy mash, and roasted veg (tossed in olive oil and some herbs and baked of course).

Chicken korma (can't have spicy as im cooking for the kids too!) with rice, pishwari naans, poppadoms and pataks mango chutney.

I will wash it down with a couple of bottles of aspall cider when the kids are in bed

Wifes away for the weekend so the tv is mine baby yeah!

corr all you guys making me hungry some tasty ideas there. especially washing dinner down with ALCOHOL now that sounds good. think that bottle of red wine i opened to put a splash into my steak pie will need finnishing off methinks .

probably nothings as I had 5 plates of chinese at lunchtime along with soup and apple fritters and ice cream.

Rest of the family is having kidney bean in coconut curry with chappaties.

was going thru my cupboards last night and found two fray bentos pies . forgot all about them as bin making my own for a while now.

one of them is close to date. so we having it for tea tonight ellie and i, with chips i think and buttered peas and carrots.
