Don't update if you ant tu use jailbreak on the ps3.

Ok guys teensy board comming in the morning HDD setup with backup manager and a couple of games.i,ve noticed when i transfer games to HDD there are some update folders there do i have to leave them there?..thanks

i ordered 5 teensy++ boards from PJRC: Electronic Projects with Components Available Worldwide a week ago. and i have chased them up about, why my order hasnt been sent. they said that i just missed out from their initial stock, but they have the teensy 1.0 in stock, and if i want them instead, then i can change my order. so they should get dispatched today i hope.

so they have them in stock, send them an email and ask them if u can order 1. ignore the fact that it says out of stock on their site. email them to find out if u can order it.

anyone know if redboxmods.com are trustworthy? I see theres a couple of different variants of redboxmods with .info and wotnot - but want to make sure they're a known company for buying parts from.

yes redboxmods are trustworthy..

P33, the USB dongle isnt a flash drive, u need to either ..

buy a dev board (teensy, avrusbxplain all of them..)
build your own usb dongle (using an AT90USB162U2 or ATMEGA32U2, or the likes, or you can build a PIC version (18F2550)
wait until ps3 dongles are offically for sale and stocked, everywhere is all preorders nobody actually has any stock anywhere..

Well I've took the plunge and preordered the Maximus from teensy.co.uk. Fingers crossed all will go well and these cards wont be held up.

Worst case scenario its bought on credit card so covered in event of a problem

FWIW they're £25 at teensy.co.uk including delivery 1st class recorded

if you have the board just hook it up to usb on your pc and put it into DFU mode, flash using Flip! and put it into your PS3

i have ordered some PICs going to build up a few of these dongles to see what its like lol

all i can say now is i was peed yesterday when farnell stopped my order but today i am well happy as went for the psfreedom version via my htc desire and can confirm it works :banana::banana: and didnt spend a penny just a few scarey moments with my phone
