That's right.
Just look at the glaring examples of the Sony PSX, PS2 and PSP.
Piracy totally destroyed both systems forcing Sony to abandon the hardware, same as the Xbox360, Microsoft abandoned that 6 months after release due to massive piracy.
Nintendo's Wii lost all developer support once piracy started and now practically no games are released.
If only these systems had never been pirated, perhaps the shops would still be stocking all the latest games for each system, but alas, piracy has killed the market.
Must admit, I haven't been into Gamestation for a long while... but are the shelves really that empty?
No mate, that's my point.
That's right.

Jan, you didn't read my post properly.
Do you really believe what I wrote?
Look at some of my points..
Microsoft abandoned the Xbox360 six months after release - false - it's still going strong.
Sony abandoned the PSX and PS2 due to piracy - false - They milked every last drop of life out of both machines.
The Wii has no support due to piracy - false - The Wii probably has more titles released per month than any other console.
Piracy has killed the games market - false - Game sales continue to increase.
