Manchester United thread

I hope furgie does not fook up rooney for the world cup...

as a utd fan, at the moment i couldnt give 2 shits bout england, for all i care they can go to hell! rooney's main concern is utd. utd pay his wages, he trains with utd everyday, is treated by utd etc... until the season end, england is last by a long, long way...... england this, england that and the season hasnt even finished.

as for tonight game i'v been saying about giggs, scholes & neville for a while... they didnt play and we played very, very well. i'v been saying bout carrick for ages now that this guy is an overrated fckin donkey and doesnt offer us anything whatsoever, nothing! the pussy was at fault for the 1st goal when he didnt even challenge and he lost the ball on the halfway line and got the corner for the 2nd.... absolute shitbag who has been carried by his teammates and should be embarrased especially looking at fletcher who works his socks off game after game. to make it worse carrick didnt even play at the weekend! if anderson was fit, carrick wouldnt even start....

rafael deserved to go, no doubt. yes the ref made a mistake with the initial 'foul' on rafael, but then to go and deliberately trip the player when the ball isnt even close and then to stop a player clearly running away, definitely 2 yellows. had it been one of their players in a similar situation, our players would have put the same amount of pressure so i dont think we have any room to complain. he made 2 mistakess that have cost us dearly and theres no doubt fergie will give him the hair dryer as its not the 1st time his done this.

must give credit to nani who was absolutely sensational. for a player who was being ridiculed by many, the guy has turned his utd career around in some style and i for one who always backed to well if given the chance am very happy for him.

must also point out about berbatov. for a £31m striker not to get into the team for such a huge game over a possibly 60% fit rooney is a total shambles. yes his work rate etc has defintely improved recently but he was bought for these sorta games and if u cant get into the team then surely ur time is up? all is well when playing against the likes of wolves and bolton, but an inept performance against chelsea and not making today..... needs to go for me.....

Time to look at next season think Carrick should fook off and Hargreaves should follow him no point paying a injured player mega bucks!

Neville should retire and new players should be bougt in.

League we have a chance but wonder if this result today will effect the team mentally!

Sending off did you lot in, the game was in your pocket. Disappointed but not surprised Fergie said typical Germans got our player sent off...yes they made sure the ref was aware he was already on a yellow but if roles were reversed would it be any different....I don't think so, theres only one person to blame for sending off and thats Rafael himself.

I am glad to see most the Mancs on here agreeing he deserved to go.

You lot may hate us but come the Chavs game you just may love us....I hope not...lol

btw...just for the record, I thought you lot played well tonight and didn't deserve to go out but you will have to excuse me for laughing....I can't help it.

as i said about banter

whhooooooo

sorry i had to

remember u done it when we went out

Everyone was rubbishing Liverpool when they went out in the group stages to WHO ? Lyon who just happen to be in the semis. Makes me wonder if they were in your group would you have got out ?. You lot played well tonight though in the first half but even before the sending off Bayern were getting on top of you. Never mind , you won the Carling cup . We just might win the Europa league, Mmmmm wonder which one I would rather win

Manchester United have confirmed they have agreed an undisclosed fee with Chivas de Guadalajara to sign Mexican Javier Hernandez.
The 21-year-old striker, who passed a medical in Manchester this week, will join subject to a successful work permit application.
Hernandez will be the second new face at Old Trafford next season, with the Red Devils having already agreed a deal for Fulham defender Chris Smalling.
The striker, who is better known as 'Chicharito' - meaning Little Pea - has scored four goals in four friendly appearances for El Tri.
As part of the deal United will play a match to open the new Chivas Stadium which has been included in next term's pre-season preparations.
Great addition

United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is excited the Mexican starlet is joining as he believes the striker is an excellent prospect.
He told club's official website: "I am delighted to reach agreement with Chivas to bring such an exciting young striker, who has been in such prolific form for both his club and his country.
"He will be a great addition to our squad and we look forward to welcoming our first Mexican player in the summer.
"We are equally excited to play our first game in Mexico, opening the magnificent new

What is with buying all these young strikers, this doesnt look as if united will be buying a top established striker in summer it seems. I imagine this guy starting up like that Mexican player in the Goal! film, taking a good while to get used to england and english football, the ending? who knows...his goals on youtube look good but then the mexican league is well poor when compared to european leagues (he scored against everton though lol)

United now have Macheda, Diouf, Welbeck, and this new guy who are all goin to be on borderline of being in the united squad. Then theres couple other younger guys like Joshua King and John Cofie right below them.

Hopefully within couple years 1 or 2 of these young strikers will develop enough and get good enough to hold down a regular striking role in the united squad.

You guys are hilarious.
4 years ago, Carrick was the missing piece of the jigsaw.
You hadn't won the premiership since Beckham left.

You signed Carrick and you won it 3 times, all of a sudden he is not fit to wear the shirt.

Never fooking satisfied springs to mind

it wasnt solely down to carrick, yes he contributed very well in his 1st 2 seasons, i admit that. but last season he was poor and this season he has got worse. he just seems to take an age to decide what to do when he gets the ball, doesnt put in a tackle and runs around like a headless chicken. passing is his best attribute yet he cant seem to pull off a simple 20 yard pass. believe me if anderson wasnt injured, he would have started a lot of the games carrick has and would have put more effort in that this donkey has.

Have to say I've been really surprised by the comments to the defeats. These lads would be suicidal if they supported my boys! Feck talk about not knowing when you have it good!

It's all relative I suppose, but it's the reason I stopped with my clubs football forum, merchants of doom didn't begin to cover the majority! Lol

Football is a team game, and the supporters are meant to support... Cheer together, cry together.

So when is this so called bounceback supposed to happen? At this rate United will end up 3rd.

All talk and nothing to back it up, its just unbelievable how hopeless united are in the final third without rooney. Why does Ferguson persist in play the golden trio of Neville, Scholes, and Giggs all in the same match, it hasnt worked since the spurs game early in the season.
And seriously just flog off Berbatov, he is not fitting into united set up. What a waste of £30 million

Anyway hopefully see some well known arrivals in summer and get ready for next season

The league is over congratulations to Chelsea.

We just weren't good enough in the end to maintain the challenge and with our over reliance on one player all season proving to be the problem!

This is a squad that needs inforcements not some unknown guys which seems to be the way we are going about our business its time we got some big names in! A new striker and a central attacking midfielder. We want you to use that £80 million from the Ronaldo sale and i won't accept the market is over inflated because it would be hypocrisy. We demand a world record fee but when we have to buy a player the prices are ridiculous well it works both ways and its time to bring in some new faces and stop relying on our old players who i have the upmost respect for but there comes a time when we are all past it.

Its not been a too bad a season considering we sold the Worlds best player and i know its ifs buts, but had that defense not had so many injuries the title could have been already ours! However the players look tired now after playing so many games and its seems there not much left in the tank.

Berbatov must go he has done ok in patches but he just can't seem to settle in this team for some reason. Carrick must step it up or he will end up following him.

The clubs must avoid selling any of the big names so i hope that any offer we may recieve for Vidic is rejected.

another poor, poor showing..... when i saw the trio of giggs, neville and scholes on the teamsheet i just thought 'on nooo'! the worse thing is giggs is contracted till 2011 and i think the other are gonna be offered deals in the summer.... but i dont blame them, i blame fergie for playing them week after week. our two best players and most consistent players this season in evra & fletcher not even in the starting lineup... fergie got it wrong with his selection against chelsea last week and again today.......

as for berba, im sure even the most hardcore berba fans would agree that he just isnt the player for us. he was awful, just awful. absolute waste of £31m and if this last 10 days or so doesnt show fergie what a load of balls he is, then i dont know what will.

obviously the league is chelsea's to lose but i think next weekend is absolutely pivotal, if we beat city and chelsea lose to spurs then its game on again........
