is that config for Globe Visibility Connection Manager mate im looking all over and cant find the app im using the software from early in the thread MF622 HSDPA EDGE USB MODEM sounds a weird name but thats the only one i have its ashame the 3 software isnt hacked for any provider, cheers.

The Globe software is on the hacked dongle. If you uninstall all other drivers and then plug the dongle in the Globe stuff should auto install.

ive just checked mine and its the same 3 software on it that came with it i did pay to unlock it before the free way was found is that the reason, cheers.

EDIT: ive just checked and it is because i didnt use the free unlock software so i just used the app from Unlock USB Dongle Free.rar and its installed, can anyone tell me how i go about deleting the orginal software from the dongle ive changed the properties from read only but it still wont let me delete anything, thanks.

sorry to double post but ive put the o2 setting into telstra but when i put the dongle in it auto boots telstra and just says please wait intializing even though the dongle as gone green so im thinking the app is not seeing the dongle again is this because i didnt use the free unlock software, cheers.

EDIT: thats weird it didnt like the usb port i was using i changed ports let it reinstall and it worked or maybe its becuase the dongle was installed before the app i dont know but it seems to be working, cheers.

Dont think you can - its part of the device firmware so the only way to change it is to change the firmware.

Telstra - made sure no drivers installed for the ZTE, installed Telstra from the free flashed fiirmware zip from this thread, rebooted, inserted dongle, working fine.

that was my prob with vista mate ive just reformated and had installed the other app from the dc unlocker site zte as daveleebond says in which my dongle was fine then i uninstalled zte and installed telstra put my dongle into the same port i used with zte and it just stayed on initializing i just pluged it into another usb port and telstra picked it up and it worked, weird.

there was no drivers installed, as i unlocked the dongle on my other laptop running windows xp. but i just uninstalled the telstra manager and installed the globe one from the dongle and its working fine, so i will stick with that.

dont even know why i bought this anyway, i will probably never use it. i think its because i havent had anything to hack, and play about with for a while

marra, what connection manager are you using and did you unlock the dongle with DC unlocker?

As far as I can make out as well as the telstra manager you can also use an unbranded 3G connection manager available here on the DC unlocker website (although a few have said that it does not detect their modem). A few have also said that you can use the global manager for the MF626 on the MF627 but I haven't been able to find that as a standalone download anywhere.
