There are lots of laws quite rightly protecting peeps are that disabled, including access to work places etc.

The reason the police done what they done is because they are too shit scared of offending a RELIGIOUS group who are still jumpling up and down.

Why are they jumping up and down? He managed to make a £100K because of their stupidity/negligence. Who are they? Who is jumping up and down? The Sikh community or You?

Wise up, a helmet big enough to go over a turban would be that big you could not fit through a feckin door !!:roflmao:

Yeah your idea is brilliant, don't employ a basic officer on the lowest wage who knows his own religion, lets employ a working group with a few inspectors and civil experts and a few religious watchdogs all claiming expenses and salaries and booking offices and suites to discuss the issue, and of course half the feckin MET would have to travel to god knows where to get a true understanding of the problems.

Then this magical 17ft helmet would probably only be able to be build by NASA and several researchers would need to travel back and forth to have meeting about tactical requirements etc.

Then we would need a change in Police budgets in order to purchase these magical helmets, so we would debate it all in the house of commons then of course the fat arsed MP's would need a jolly to Loopyloo land to see the "just smaller than a roundabout" helmet in situe....

Then we would need to train the filth in health & safety in how to handle the 250lb wonder skull protector.

after re-reading this wonderful article from the daily mail, I have just noticed that it didnt cost £100,000 to fail to get a new helmet. The total cost was over an 18 month period, during which the officer was assigned the task of sourcing the helmet and respirator. The cost includes his total wages for that time. No idea if it is before or after tax.

Now, I wouldnt assume that anti-terror officers get paid vast sums, but they probably get quite a good salary. Over 18 months, that should be quite a lot.

I would say that most respirators wouldnt really work for guys with long beards - after all they are nearly exclusive to the emergency services and the army, but would still be pretty essential for an anti terror cop. But I doubt that there are none available - after all how do sikh soldiers in the Indian army cope? They would need respirators and helmets, wouldnt they?

During a gas attack they generally fall over and die as with a beard the mask cannot seal on the face.

I'm talking about religious education, as probably 99% of peeps on the forum are either Christians or atheists, they know nothing about religion and therefore just assume that the stereotypes they see in the media are true and use them as a basis for their arguments.
