Town moves against Islamic school

it seem to me that some people think that islam is being shoved down there throat which is right in some sense.
well the mainstream media in the UK which is owned and controlled by non-muslims and it is they who are voicing the issues.
before september11 how many islamic programmes were shown on mainstream tv?
i guess only bbc educatioanal programmes were shown on the islamic religion. nowadays you see many broadcasting companies making and showing the nastiness that so called muslims do against another human being.
doing this they show the negative in which some tom, dick and harry assume every muslim to be like this.

With respect and I don't mean this to be an attack on you but we have had similar discussions before. The problem is that most muslims including yourself are not educated enough in the history of islam to be able to make such comments. Muslims themselves need to understand their bloody history (it is this which muslims terrorists cling onto and use as a form book)
Lets forget about america vs islam for a second and just concentrate on the story I first posted about the Camden residents. Have any of you been to Luton and Bradford which are predominantly muslim areas? Those places are absolute gutters and I would go so far as saying some of the worst places to live in the UK. Since the muslim community moved in and turned the place into a mini pakistani village it really has turned into a slum.
Do you not think that the residents of Camden are justified into wanting to protect their lovely town and preserve its history or is it OK to turn them into another Bradford?

We misunderstand Jihad ?... I personally would like YOU to clarify where we are all going wrong as from where I am sitting YOU are the only person not understanding it.
The problem for Muslims/Islam is that more and more of "us" are finding out just how violent,degrading,intolerant and unjust this "religion" is.
I do not intend to insult Muslims personally but to sit and read pure crap that we do not understand the issues and reasons behind the bombings,shootings and the cutting off of heads is "peaceful and good"!!

just to add. i work alongside non-muslims and never ever shoved islam down there throats.
we have our differences but hey i respect there values and in turn they respect mine. for instance most of them if not all have ham sandwiches for breakfast at work and they eat it in front of me and no im not offended.
i let them get on with it without making fuss.

I have the same problem as my best mates are all muslim. When we go out to eat they dont mind what I eat at the same table, we all take the piss out of me including myself on the whole swine issue but I think that only muslims who are peaceful act this way.
Then again if I went out with my friend who is an islamic judge I wouldn't eat any swine in front of him. I guess its all about how much respect you have for the people you associate with.

just like any other towns which are mainly occupied by british asian sikhs or hindus like southall and leicester.
your argument in saying that bradford/luton are perdominantly occupied by muslim can infact be said about asian elsewhere in the uk be it muslim, sikh, hindu, chinese and so on

Southall and Leicster are no way as bad as Luton. Have you been recently? I saw Luton in the early 90's and it was OK. Go there now and you would really think you are in a poor village from back home.
lets all laugh and joke about one another but there is a line to be drawn.
we do have good banter at work but nothing steps outa line.

Why would you be offended by someone eating a ham sandwich,

In fact, there are many people who wouldnt even consider these people to be of any faith at all.

Does Islam not teach you to kill the non believer wherever you find them and spread the word of Allah ?
To my understanding they are following the word of Allah, anyone not fighting is not.......
This is in no way an attack on the posted comment, but something i have seen a hell of a lot of. Muslims saying 'im british' 'i was born here, this is my home' and so on, then see british muslims speaking of the arabic nations / mid east as home and it confuses me
where is home? the countries that muslims say they dont want to be a part of due to the brutal laws and shall we just say 'other' ways, or is it britain, with its already in place values and laws, that so many muslims want to change to be like the countries that they dont want to be part of??
