I mean do you rem a line or what entry do you edit?

I presume you mean for what I posted?

If so exmaple for evocamd, it uses camd_cfg to tell it how to work.
Edit this file, and find the line that is:
A: { 02 }

Change this to be
A: { 00 }

Save it.

Then make sure you've got your keylist.txt edited correctly, then reboot and instantly it should work if you've got it all correct.

Guys...once u have the right keys for your area ..its not difficult.
If you use GBOX...edit the NAGRA file only (CHMODD 555 afterwards)
if you use EVOCAM..edit the Keylist.txt file only
With the NAGRA file just ADD the 2 new keys at the bottom of the file.
The Keylist.txt can all be replaced with the new keys.
Or do both if you really want to.
Both nagra and keyfiles are found in the KEYS folder on your dbox.
The keys already include info on auto update on/off (00 & 01)

Damn, cant get anything to work, was using gbox and have updated the nagra file and key file and still nothing. updated keylist.txt, tried evocam using 0014 and still nothing. can somebody please shoot me, been up all night and got a serious headache, i think i'm becoming delirious.

Guys, Where do you get the key files from, and once we do update them, and they get changed again does this mean we need to look for keys again?, can somebody explain this to us how keys update etc, and whats changed now from before for them not to apdate automatically please,

I Think This is a TEMP measure...as soon as the keys roll again...we need new keys,until some brainy DW boffin, creates a perfect fix )

I know it's a Temp measure but I want to be able to pull this off so I can manually update my box
on a daily basis if possible. can somebody send me a working nagra for my area. I'm Telepest Gloucester.
I just want to get the gbox and nagra working on Andromeda V2.

Can someone explain the instruction "CHMOD 555 afterwards"? I can't figure out what this means and how it's done. Probably being thick and missing something obvious !!

You need to telnet onto your box from a PC. From a command prompt in windows type:

telnet ipaddress of your box

The user name should be root and password might be dbox2 or dbox (could be others depending on the image)

you should now be on the box so got the the keys dir as follows:

cd /var/keys

Then change mode as follows:

chmod 555 Keylist.txt
chmod 555 keylist
chmod 555 nagra
chmod 555 SoftCam.Key

you don't need all of these just depends on the cam you are using.

Still off in Lanarkshire, TW area.

Using commando 9, on evocamd, changed keylist to correct keys, chmod to 555 and still nothing.

The one thing i did notice, is that in the emu selection screen, all the roms are disabled, when I try to enable them they still return to disabled.

Any help would be appreciated, even if I need to try mgcam.

I changed my keys but they have gone again

Was working ok last night apart from the odd channel freeze

Done it, thanks to everybody who has contributed to this post, I updated my keys in the Nagra file
using the ones from the Extra CP for my area. I then right cllicked on the Nagra file and used the
command tool to chmod to 555 and so far everything is working great.

Does anybody know the quickest way to obtain keys once they have been updated .

Dont know if this will be any help for the brainy people who hopefully can find a solution for this, but a m8 of mine has got a new 'box super' and it has been unaffected by this. He hasn't even had to re-scan.

it seems to be ok again in northlanarkshire tw i was inputing the keys and nothing was happening so decieded to change camds went on to mgcamd using blade img went to view ative keys and they were the same as the ones posted and after about 5 mins it started i did not input keys just tested evo and it seems to have updated its self aswell.dont know for how long this will last but will keep yous posted
i did also notice that all last night the only keys being updated before were the 00 ones 001 was not updated
