You need newcamd protocol if using nlines,CCcam protocol for clines (but I know you know that bit )

enabled newcamd protocol still no joy

enabled newcamd protocol still no joy

Ok you have your nline setup as a reader in oscam.server with protocol = newcamd,

You also need matching port numbers between your newcamd setting in oscam.conf and your reader in oscam.server,

I can put up samples but not till tomorrow m8

I may be mistaken, but did I not read that the location of config files for Oscam_ymod had changed. This was to prevent a clash. Easiest way to check is to use standard oscam and see if it works. I may be mistaken.

Actually think your right Abu, the info I'm giving at the minute is based on standard oscam,

Best bet is to run oscam in a telnet session, it will show you where its falling down :)

still no joy it looks like it connects but thats it nothing else.. will keep plugging away

With regards to version oscam-ymod_18.t46, as posted by Ten Below from another place

Config directory changed to /etc/tuxbox/config/ymod so it will not overwrite any existing oscam files.
Oscam.keys file location /usr/keys
