Transfer from iphone to android HELP!!

Hi peeps,

An aunt of mine has asked me to swap her iphone to a Samsung Galaxy prime for her, and to swap over all the images, texts, contacts, etc. I think it's ios 4 (says 4.3.3 on version in the iphone general settings). She has a gmail account but only 1 contact shows up. I really don't want to install itunes on my pc: is there a good free program out there anyone can recommend for transferring everything across?

Just been farting around with it for about an hour: now I realise how glad I am I never got an iphone!

Can you create a back up of the contacts to a .vcf file (Vcard) and bluetooth the file from one phone to the other?

You could upload the images to a dropbox account etc and download them back to the Samsung, or maybe bluetooth them over?

(i've always had an Android OS, so not really sure)

Finally got it all done a while back: I had to manually copy everything over after finally getting the drivers to get Windows to recognise the phone. I refuse to install iTunes, so that made it harder, but I had to email the address one at a time to the new phone and import them in. Now in a Google account on an android handset so I'll never have to do it again. I hate Apple!

On the bright side, if for some reason she choses to return to an iPhone it'll be a lot easier to transfer the data back! Haha.
