What would you do if your son was gay?

Shows like eastenders dnt help things either, homosexual all kissing before the watershed hrs, these kind of story line can mess with a kids head. If i had a son who was gay i 'll forget about beating the gayness out of him but probably lock him in a room with naked fit women. Or try hipnosis.

not in a position to say wat i would do as i dnt yet have a kid so i dnt knw wat it feels like maybe by the end of this year i will. But respect to you all.

Just out of curiousity tlogic pal. What would you do if you daughter was a lesbian.

It may sound like the same question but you know some fellas get a kick from lesbo kissing.

I would be 99% sure you would not kick the f**k out of your son or daughter, you will understand when the time comes.

Before I had any kids I thought something similar, there was no way any son of mine would be gay. But now I'm the father of 2 lovely kids, my son is the oldest and he is 5 years old, I have such a strong love for him that I know no matter what, I will support him and be there for him, whether he has financial problems, medical problems or even issues with his sexuality he is still my son. Hopefully he will grow up and have a trouble free life but if not, I'll be there for him.

Well said that man. My sentiments exactly

I will never look at a bingo match the same way ever again..:Yikes::Yikes::Yikes:

I love the avatar an sig BTW hoppy - with hicks there is so many levels to the feed line that the punch line is irrelevent,
"That's kinda like going up to Jackie Kennedy Onassis with a rifle pendant on." PMSL

my sons are 19 and 16 yes im "lucky " they not gay. but had they been, i would have said well as long as yr happy thats all that matters, after all all you want is for yr children to be happy in life. and if thats the way they are then so be it, i wouldnt want them to conform just to keep me happy, id hate that, life is too short not to be happy . my eldest has had girlfriends a string of them and my youngest had nuts mag every week and got pics of topless birds all over his walls . so dont think hes gay lol xx

Such a gay day today. I'm off out with George later today for ginger beer and snacks.

If gay meant happy, who took the word gay and used it for 'gays', does that mean all gays are happy?

If it were my son, I would support him, but as said before make sure he uses protection as I wouldn't want him getting pregnant! ;)

My sentiments exactly, A fathers love for his children is unconditional and i would support my 2 boys no matter what !
So long as they have their health & they are happy, thats all that matters to me.
I have a slightly funny story in relation to homophobia.
When i got married some 15 years, i invited a freind who i have known for years and the fact that he is gay has never been a problem to me.
So i deliberately on the seating plan put him next to my future broth-in law, who is the biggest homophobic on the planet.
They got on like a house on fire until the moment that i told him he had been sat next to a gay man all night.
he could not beleive that such a genuine guy could be gay, as he got on well with everyone at the wedding.
The lesson being, don't judge people until you get to know them and don't make judgements on people purely based on their sexual pereference!

Having a daughter & a son you can't help but love them, so if it came to it, I'd just have to live with it and would support them in any decisions they make in life (providing their old enough).....lol

2 friends of mine have gone through this situation, one of my mates brother realised he prefered to bat for the other side quite late on, he'd been married to a girl for a number of years. The other was told by her son when he was in his early teens, unfortunately his father disowns him for it, he didn't stay with them so didn't see him much anyway. Both of these fellas families just get on with it and the two guys concerned are as happy as a pig in shit and live life to the full.

I have a 12 year old son and no mater what he does in life I have and will support him and he knows it. The same goes for my 2 daughters. Only someone with out kids would say different.

I dnt know wat i would do if i found out if my daughter was a lesbian probably to start i wouldn't be too happy and won't talk to her for a while but i will eventually come round to it if it makes her happy i will probably have to accept it.

I don't think anyone can give an honest answer untill it happens.

When I found my 2 boys watching porn when they were 13 and 15, I hugged them so tight and just told them don't let mum catch you. I became a grandad 4 days ago and I'm onlt 37!!
