I don't usually buy large furniture on ebay and after my first and last purchase I will only use ebay for the kack things you can't find anywhere else maybe under a few quid.
Bought a piece of new furniture, flat pack. ordered on the 23rd may. Supposed to arrive on 1-2 june. Seller never dispatched until 31st with a 3-5 day courier. So the 1-2 June delivery never or ever was going to happen and on the 5th noticed the tracking had said that my click and collect place refused item saying 'too heavy'. I used click and collect as I knew i would not be in in at time of delivery.
Contacted seller through ebay and she said' Your argos refused item to heavy' Now its not MY argos and also seller said weight was 20kg when in fact is was only 5-10kg. So her fault not mine. She went on to say that ' be aware i will send out another even though I've not received the other back yet'. Is it just me, but it sounds as if she's doing ME a favour? I feel that this is the least she could do and her whole tone was nasty.
Email back and forth through ebay and she said she would do a return and get me my money back. After 3-4 days no refund. Contacted ebay and no refund in action. Ebay then gave me a code so that I could get my money back from Paypal. I'm still waiting on my refund and I left negative feed back on her ebay and she implied that I committed fraud. She already has 3 negative in the last month and all the refund never happened or were painfully slow. So I've reported to to ebay, but not really sure anything will happen as ebay are SHIT!
