ZTE Blade: Gallery issue

Had an Orange San Fransisco for a while now, stuck Japanese Jellyfish RLS9 on it day 1 & I'm very impressed with the phone. Only drawback I have is the Gallery pictures takes ages to load up. Everything else about the phone, videos, Internet, apps etc all load/run really snappy but the Gallery takes (at least) a couple of minutes to complete showing thumbnails.
If there's a way to prevent it loading album art I guess that would help, also shows thumbnails of videos there for some reason too?? Once it finishes loading there's about 100 images but maybe 30 of them are from albums, so not a great deal of images to show IMHO.
Anybody know how I can speed it up?

If you make a .nomedia file with no extension in the folders you dont want to load up it might speed it up.

Thanks mate. Created a folder '.nomedia' & put the photos I didn't want displayed in there. Deleted the album art .jpg's & Gallery now loads up pronto.
