Zeta Jones has begun a legal case in Los Angeles
Actress Catherine Zeta Jones is suing a US topless cabaret club which she says displayed her picture on its website alongside partially nude women.
She said The Spice House of Reno, Nevada, used her image for advertising and promotion without her permission.

Zeta Jones has filed a legal action against the club and its owners in the US District Court in Los Angeles.

She said it gave a wrong idea that she "endorsed...sexually explicit content". The club was unavailable for comment.

Zeta Jones filed her complaint on Thursday against The Spice House - which bills itself as "Reno's friendliest topless cabaret" - and owners Wesglow Resources.

Zeta Jones is married to actor Michael Douglas
She alleged that the club displayed her picture on "numerous pages" of its website, and said this could "dilute the value of her celebrity endorsement".

She said she had never authorised the club or its owners to display her image, according to the legal case.

Zeta Jones is seeking unspecified damages and an order barring further use of her likeness.

She is at the centre of another court case involving a woman accused of stalking and threatening her.

Dawnette Knight has denied a charge of stalking and 24 charges of making criminal threats against the actress.

She has been in custody since June and is due to stand trial in November.

In January, Zeta Jones and her husband Michael Douglas were awarded more than 75% of the £4m they had spent suing Hello! magazine after photos of their wedding appeared in the celebrity publication.
