Difficult one for me - probably Johnny Giles, Billy Bremner, Norman Hunter, Eddie Gray.

The Strachan, Speed, Batty, McAllister midfield wasn't bad though - while it lasted!!

Ian Callaghan (Even though he started mostly on the right, later in his career he moved in field and I believe was better for it)
Stevie Gerrard (Well, what can you say, simply the best!!)

And if I was playing 5 in midfield there would be room for Emlyn (Crazy Horse) Hughes
