can any one give us some info on what to do

Also why are ther a few moaning for a new update,on the wiikey site,
why do they want a update, whats it not doing now.

thanks for any advice

You can download the latest bootcd from the Wiikey website. I purely use it to set the region to free on my Wii, nothing else, so you don't need to patch NTSC games.

The new update provides fixes for certain problems e.g. some Gamecube games that don't boot on the Wii

so I use the 1.1 update iso on a disk or sd card and just let it load,
do I need the config update if only playing wii games
also is it safer to stay with pal games with what happened with mario

Just burn the "Setup disc v1.2" to a DVD and pop it in the drive. It runs as if it was a Gamecube game. Alter the configuration to get the region to ALL. Save the settings

You'll need this DVD if you want to play NTSC games on your PAL box without patching.

I think it is fairly safe for you to use NTSC games on a PAL as long as the firmware is kept up-to-date.

If you do come across an NTSC game that asks you to update the firmware, pause, check this forum to make sure it is safe before continuing
