Yawcam - Yet Another Webcam Software
So my family and I are back in the UK this month... whole month off work woohoo.
I have a webcam lying around in a cupboard and wanted to have a dabble with webcam stream, motion detection while I am away.
I came across this bit of software. Link Above.
Installed my webcam drives, installed YAWCAM which runs on Java and within about 30 mins I have motion detection set up to email me 15 photos when motion is detected.
Also setup a stream to go live on a schedule, so I can wake up in a morning UK time and check my apt is all OK.
Neat little 1 hr play around!!
Free bit of software, don't need to rip anyones paid software off... works well
