x box internet battle

Hi is there any way I can split the bandwidth so my son can use his x box and I can download without having it slow up him or me? we are on virgin 2 meg moving up to 10 meg shortly cheers

you say you are only on 2 meg, with the capping that virgin use depending on the time, you can get capped back to 1 meg very easily if your son decides to download a demo etc etc, i will paste the link below for the capping limits and times when they are used, you say you are moving to 10 soon, that will help a little, although you dont get the same amount as a person who had a full 10 meg to start with and not the upgrade, not sure if i can paste the full link, just change the ** to tt, you know how it works
