Anyone know what's happened to What Satellite and Digital TV magazine ?
The November edition was 36 pages of nothing and to get up the weight they included a free copy of HiFi Choice. Their website also has no access to Wotsat. Hmmm...
I think they may have gone t*ts up.

The last publication of What Satellite and Digital TV will be the September 2014 edition. It will be published and issued at the end of August in the UK.
due to falling /low interest the mag would no longer be available

There was no info in the September edition.
I just wasted £4.50 for a magazine disguised as wotsat but containing a copy HiFi Choice.
You just cannot win !

Tbh It is quite sad they have gone.
I used their guide, published in April 1996, to install my first motorised dish.
It was a 1 metre dish with a 36 volt actuator, a Pace IP1000 and a D2Mac receiver for Thor.
I kept most of the guides they published if anybody needs them.
Ah well ! Happy days

I too think it's quite sad that Wotsat's now no more.

After a break of several years, I resubscribed about two years ago. To be honest,there was little of interest in the mag of late and I suppose it was inevitable that it would close.

That's true m8. They also used too much print on Sly, their program offerings and porn ads. It was basically the same stuff every month. There was not enough on what the fringe satellite enthusiasts were doing with networked/Linux boxes and cs.
