Wiring

It is very strange to me that no one mentioned this before BUT if you have no idea what you are doing, it is better to leave it on an electrician. This is a little hazardous, don´t you think?

Thanks Karbo. I am just keen to do it myself and learn with the help from experts on the forum. I do have an electrician coming over now on Sat so might just leave him to sort it out.

Hi peers sorted me first light over the moon on me second light and i made a note of the black wire which was in brown. But now I had two additional black with blue wire and 3 red wires. Do I still put all 3 red in my terminal block with 2 red on one side and one on the other

Picture in post 19 in this thread is correct for this. so 3 reds together the taped black will connect to brown of new light and the blue from light fitting will connect with the other 2 blacks
