Hello all. does anyone know how to stop firewall appearing on task bar after I have disabled windows firewall it,s anoying every time I log on thanks.I have norton internet security running. :Cheers:

Double click the icon that appears, then down the left hand side panel you have an option 'change the way I am notified'.

This brings up the list for auto updates firewall ect, just untick the ones you dont want to know about

you can also turn off that crappy security center completely if you like....


hit start, go to Run...

Type in:

services.msc


Look for security center, double click on it, change the drop down box from automatic to disabled, then click Stop.
