willem 4.5 help please

Just got a willem 4.5 tsop48 programmer
Software version 0.97g

Im trying to read a AT49LV1614 chip
Chip is face up and the dot on the chip is at the top right corner sitting in the tsop48

Set it to read 29lv160 chip

When I select electronic id all I get is
Manufacture 0x00 […]
Device code blank nothing at all

I have printer port set to epp

Programmer setup

Dim 3 on, on the 4 dim switch
2,3,5,6,8,10,12 on, on the 12 dim switch
A18 jumper on
Vpp on, on both
29f jumper on
12v 300ma3.6va(max) power supply

Can any one help me fix this problem please

thanks for the help chad , will try it later to day , gooing for a new cable as mine is about 20 feet long
