why is my clone showing 2 macs?!!

lol u should start ur own broadband company offering a 4kb conection lol also have you checked ur network connection setings?

what do i need to check for in network connection settings ? ip is on obtain automatic ... anything else ?

no that should b ok has it worked? also what area u from i might have sum macs u can have?

just to double check have i missed out any steps ?

1) use dhcpforce to find macs (done)
2) use 232 and enter commands to change address (done)
3) restart modem and use root page to see if it is updated (done)
4) try usb or ethernet (done)
5) connect cable feed and should be on net (not working)

i have powered on and off and refreshed modem still nothing

r u sure it needs to be connected when changing the mac in hyperterminal ?
one tutorial doesnt mention it

do i do anti update command first then connect cable feed ?

tried a few macs with the method of cable feed connected but nothing ... i give up !
i have followed the tutorials step by step now

200 clone failure..

cloning is done but address is still 192.168.100.10
tried at least 12 different macs and nothing ...

p.s. im not subscribed so would that make any difference ?

i think thats y m8 u need a basic internet b4 hand...... or if not then make sure in ur network connectins u aint got it set to a static ip

also is ur cable feed active sometimes cable companys cut ur feed? are you on an ntl line? i no it sound stupid be its happened before?

if youve never had a cable feed you need to either know someone who works for them or someone with the b@lls to don a blue top and go out to your green box and switch you on
or see if you can get a months trial off them
